Love Grant Morrison.  Loved Grant Morrison's All Star Superman.  Not a fan of Gran Morrison's Action Comics.   Angry

This Superman is taking on a more "holier than thou" attitude that we've already seen in many other heroes.  New attitude doesn't make this Superman better, just ordinary.  This one's coming off my pull list.

Was going to comment, but you summed it up perfectly so I will use your words ...

It was average....nothing that striking.  Wasn't bad though.

Usually I either hate or like Morrison's stuff....I'm on the fence here since I'm not reading much DC nowadays anyways.  Maybe I'll give it another issue.  I just read that the art team is already slipping, and people are stepping in to lend a hand.....artist's these days have zero work ethic.... Grin

I agree with your assessments...These hot-shot versions of the superheroes are certainly irratating...

Annual #1

This was a good annual. We get the New 52 origins of Kryptonite Man and Atomic Skull. I enjoyed it immensely.
