All joking aside, as I don't have a favorite "era" for a character I can't stand, I will say that there are some 'Elseworlds' type Superman stories that are pretty sweet.

Also, if I had to pick an era ... give me the Curt Swan time of both silver and bronze. He was an amazing talent. Pure. Simple. Fantastic.

Unlike Perry, I do like Superman but like Perry I can't think of a particular era.  I guess my favorite would be in the George Perez JLA days - early 80's.

Mine is easily the Post-Crisis era. I loved Bryne's Superman, and then Jurgens took over and kept the awesomeness going. That was the Superman I grew up with, too. So when somebody says Superman, that's the image that pops into my head.
