From ComicCollectorLive.com recently:

4-Issue Ultron & Grim Reaper storyarc in Avengers West Coast:

A classic JLA/JSA crossover story:

4-Issue All-Star Squadron & Freedom Fighters Crossover:

Atari Force #1 (I'm a gamer and a comic collector):

And this was cheap and piqued my curiosity since I'm a fan of this era of Superman:

I also got some random issues to fill in holes in my collection.

What have you guys picked up recently?

I picked up two TPB's collecting Alan Moore's Swamp Thing.  I've never read Moore's Swamp Thing but have always heard high praise for it.  I'm looking forward to diving into it when I get past my regular monthlies.

i just won an auction on ebay for both runs of night force from DC.  i am also anxiously awaiting a delivery from mile high comics containing the TPB for the classic marvel/dc crossovers (batman/hulk and spidey/supes) along with the last 10-12 issues of Arion that i was missing to complete the run.

I've been wanting those for quite a while, now.

Just picked up Avengers Assemble #2-4, because even though Thanos wasn't advertised until issues #5 (#6 just came out), these issues directly connect to the Thanos story. Oh, and I already picked-up #1 when it was new.

I'm lucky my LCS had them still. They're the type of shop that barely orders any copies above pre-orders, if any above pre-orders on many titles except the very most popular ones.

Just ordered a bunch of back-issue fillers from ComicCollectorLive.com. This issue in particular stands-out for me:

I also got the Terror Incognita issues of JLA, the Golden Age mini-series from DC Comics, and a bunch of Post-Crisis Superman issues and West Coast Avengers/Avengers West Coast issues.

I beleive that's the first appearance of Superboy Prime long before he goes bad.

Yep, that's the one! It's pretty much the only pivotal Crisis issue I still needed.

Firestorm ... one of the few DC characters I really use to like.

And speaking of Firestorm, funny how our taste in artists change. I remember getting "FURY OF FIRESTORM" when it first came out, not only due to the love of the character, but for that "awesome" Pat Broderick art. I look back at that now and his art just does nothing for me.
