New HAWKMAN series is set to hit soon. Hooray !!! Good 'Ole JimmyT got me hooked on the last vol (4) and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Plus I liked seeing him in BRIGHTEST DAY and now he is back in his own book again? Hell y ... hell yea ... wait ... James Robinson is writing? Is this going to be the good Robinson or the one I have heard everyone say is, well, not writing too well currently?

Tan on art? ... ehh, I can give or take. He is hit and miss for me, but I could deal ...

I think I may have just talked myself out of being enthusiastic for this book.

Avatar mash-up is from Ross Pearsall... and of course those that own the original characters Smiley

The last Hawkman series was awesome....but you're right....hearing that Robinson and Tan are on the new series, and being as hot and cold as they are, deflated my hopes a bit.

Rah, Hawkman!

That said, Robinson has been heating up since being on JLA a lot longer. So, a character with a somewhat limited history in the modern DC world.

Tan was really good with Revelations during Final Crisis, so hey, I'm all in.
