COME GET SOME!!!

Duke Nukem Forever arrived in the mail yesterday and is being installed AT THIS MOMENT!

Of course it takes Forever to install.

LOVED the original of this game many many years ago.  Back then it was my favorite game.  Wonder if the joy will continue now that I'm older?

I'm right there with Sith... Ocarina all the way, baby!!!

On a sadder note, my 360 decided it was finally time to join the rest of the old-style 360s and went all Red Ring on me.  So I am without my 360 for the time being.  I'm going to try the Towel Trick and hope that I can squeeze out a few more game sessions out of it, but it looks like I'm going to be waiting until Sept to get another 360.

GEARS OF WAR 3 bundle.  $400... 2 controllers... a 360 skinned with a Gears theme... the game... headset... 320GB hard drive... and a system that makes GEARS sound effects when you open the drive and power it up.

Luckily I have my Wii, 3ds, and PS3 to keep me busy until Sept.

I'm still without my 360 so I've decided to go back to the first Dead Space.  Damn, I suck at the game.  I keep running out of money and therefore, running out of bullets.

Great game.  I had the same problem in the game.  I ended up selling off weapons/ammo I rarely used, and bought it back later. Sounds like you might want to conserve your ammo and make use of your melee attack, or slow them down by shooting off a leg.  You don't have to kill each and every monster that comes your way.

In many ways, I think that running low on ammo is a good thing.  It forces you to become a better shot, and be smarter about your strategy in a situation.  Instead of running and gunning.

I just finished LA Noire not too long ago.....solid game.  Thinking about getting the DLC.

Right now I'm playing a combination of Dead Nation, Super Stardust HD, and Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom.   Cool

Good luck!

Jeff,
What was your verdict on Duke Nukem?  I was thinking about checking it out.

Currently playing through Just Cause 2, while I wait for this fall's anticipated releases...for me Uncharted 3 and Batman Arkham City!

I've played through many open world, free roam places, but Just Cause 2's Island of Panau just seems huge!!!  I hate the audio glitches, but blowing stuff up and causing chaos is fun!

Playing Fallout 3.....my initial reaction after playing it about 6 hours is that this game is overhyped.  Not really impressed with the fighting mechanics, and all the accolades it has received are lost on me.  Hopefully this game gets better....At this point, I don't see why anyone would want to clock in 100 hours playing this.
