Congrats, Jeff!!! Hope you have a great time at the new place. I mean as much time as one can have earning a living  Grin And yeah, your job title sounds awesome!!!
 Grin
Plus part of it sounds like an Image title if I ever heard one
"First there was the fall of Black Hammer. Next came the story of their greatest villain: Sherlock Frankenstein, closely followed by both Doctor Star and the Quantum Age. Now, get ready for the next chapter in the Black Hammer Universe, starring Colonel Weird and his automated buddy, Talky Walky - CYBER FUSION (with back-up story THE LOST CAPITAL OF SATURN)!!!

Iím fascinated by this Voyager stuff in Avengers.

No way I can say anything without saying too much so I won't
 Cheesy

Only two books so far, but I bet ya know what one of them was, and it isn't the first one on the list ...  Grin

Eclipse #1 - Wow! How'd I miss this? Pretty cool. The Sun is now a brutal killing force. Special police/enforcer type guys have to walk around in Nitrogen cooled gear during the day while everyone is now living underground and sleeping during the day, but what happens when someone uses the Sun to murder peeps? I am not doing this story justice, but go check out some previews or reviews and see if it would be something up your alley. And speaking of previews, did anyone check out the Isola pages yet?

Quantum Age #2 - I fear I am gonna be upset about this book. Only so much that it is going to be an all too quick mini of only six issues and already I think this story needs at least eight.

Man did time slip away from me this week. Just bought the wife a new laptop and both of us new phones (Galaxy S9s) to replace our ... tad older phones (Galaxy S4s)  Grin. This will be our third set of phones that we have had since we got married 20 plus years ago.  Cheesy We had two Motorola Flip phones prior to getting the S4s, which were already so old we were able to get them from BestBuy for a whopping $1 each  Cheesy

Anyway, setting these puppies up, much less setting up the wife's laptop has taken me away from comics for a few, or at least conversing about them but here is what I was able to finish Tuesday night, I believe before midnight, but if not, they are here anyway.
 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Terrifics #6 - I still like this, but ... I don't know, it's ... well, it's fine. Yeah, it's fine.
The Wild Storm #10
The Wild Storm #11
- The actual title to this book and not Wildstorm as Jeff pointed out (I never even noticed that it wasn't one word this time around  Cheesy) and I also didn't know/realize I was this far behind on this title. I plan on changing that and knocking out these two issue were a good start. This book is so ... Ellis. I think this is a more relaxed, modern and more non-cinematic version of his original Stormwatch and Authority that I fell is a natural progression to "age". It is not as "jaw-dropping" as his first run on those titles, but it is still just as valid a read ... albeit much slower in pacing

The Realm #8 - This damn apocalyptic take on Dungeons and Dragons is slowly just grabbing me harder and harder. Much like the Palantir of Orthanc (thanks interwebs!!  Cheesy) this book is just peering into me. Hahaha. Okay, this is not having that much of an impact, but I am enjoying it more and more. I think because we are seeing more and more of the bad guys.
 Grin

And also read priors -

Die!Die!Die! #1

Justice League Dark #1
Hal & the GLC #49
Green Lanterns #49
Green Lanterns #50

Legion of Super Heroes #14
Action #1001

After almost 9 years at my current company I'm finally moving on to a brand new job starting August 20!  My company had moved the office so far north it was taking me an hour to hour and a half to get there.  Now I'm back in downtown Dallas and at most a 30 minute drive.  Plus, I'm close to the hockey stadium (I could walk)!   Grin

If this doesn't sound comic bookey I don't know what does.  I'll be the Sr. Manager of the Cyber Fusion Center.  I'll be one accident away from hulking out.   Cheesy

And now Immortal Men is cancelled. I didn't even finish reading the first issue. What a blah endeavor.

Oh wow.  I had just cancelled my subscription after issue 3.

What a flop, right? I know I read the rumor mill, and this seems to be put on Didio's plate, but his directorial direction does not seem smart.

I mean, I like the Terrifics, but beyond that? The funniest thing I saw with about them was their unofficial titles.

The Not Fantastic Four
The Not Incredible Hulk
The Not Punisher
The Not Spider-man
 Cheesy

And now Immortal Men is cancelled. I didn't even finish reading the first issue. What a blah endeavor.

Your thoughts on this stuff?
