Title: BOOK OF THE MONTH
Post by: Perry on April 16, 2019, 10:56:20 AM
Hey guys, I want to try and get back to that "book of the month" idea we had tried a few years back.

I have been really wanting to read Gotham Central and that got me thinking ... what if we all read issue #1 and then discussed it.
Now I know that Jeff maybe the only one here that has access to the DCU Service, so we can put that issue aside until we can get more people either on the service or at least see who does have that series in trades or whatever. I personally am going to join DCU again here soon as I like they are now putting all their titles on the service after 12 months of being in the store, so like MU, just a little longer wait (no big deal), but I also know that others may not want to do that.

So is there a title or issue that the MU has that either you have never read that you would like to or an issue that you have read so long ago that you want to re-read? I think everyone here has an MU sub, so it would be easy to do (once we all agree on the issue/title ;D ... although we can't pick a title like Rom as that is not going to be up on MU  >:() and we can revisit Gotham Central later. Unless, again, you guys have it or want to join the DCU
 ;D

And again, just once a month. No big commitment. We can all read one issue a month and talk about it right?

COOL!

But what is this "long box" of which you speak? Is that one of those primitive storage device for physical comics?  ;)
Want to see Jeff's long box?

Someday I will be there as well!!!!

But seriously, Jimmy, cool beans!!!  :)

That makes three of us that can get Gotham Central #1 ... anyone else?
